Have you been working with the homeowner? If so, please have them write, fax, e-mail me asking for the address change. We will then respond in writing on City letterhead. If there are any agencies, like the County Assessor, that still show the Leeward address, then they can use copies of our letter as approval to make the changes so that all records show a consistent address. The current GIS configuration is consistent with the parcel map. Along with the parcel map, authority was granted to have two -unit condominiums on each parcel. Parcel 1 has the addresses 2720 and 2730 Bayside Drive while Parcel 2 has the newly - created addresses 2740 and 2750 Bayside Drive. You looked into it and said we could have the 313 Santa Ana Ave. address, and said to let you know when we received our final inspection from the City of Newport Beach. We received our final inspection on Dec. 27, 2007. The post office said they require an official letter from the city stating that they formally recognize 313 Santa Ana as an official Newport Beach address, so that we can start receiving mail at 313 Santa Ana. The electric and gas bills for that address will be arriving shortly. We showed the post office the email we received from you from May of 2006, but they need a current letter. I have a copy of our initial emails (May 8 and 9th, 2006) if you need them, however you said you would keep them on file. My husband and I Will be glad to do anything to help expedite this process.
