Dear Ms. Merage:
As you requested, we are changing your address back to its initial assignment of 1
Covecrest. Several years ago, your family asked it be changed to 21 Pelican Crest
Drive. Since that has not been a satisfactory arrangement, we agree to reinstate the
original address.
We will advise City departments; however, it is your responsibility to advise all other
affected agencies, such as the U. S. Postal Service, utilities, Orange County Assessor,

I have no problem assigning the addressing you requested at 109 41st Street and 110 40th Street;
however, I need a little more information.
Since the official City records use 109 41st and 110 40th, were the upstairs units the " 1/2" units?
Will the upstairs units now be the "B" units and the "A" units be the downstairs units?
Do all of the dwellings have their main entrances on Seashore Drive?
Also, since I will respond back to you with a letter, please provide a mailing address.

Manna, thank you for taking the time to listen to our address predicament for the stores
and residences located at 307 and 309 Marine Ave, Newport Beach 92662.
Currently, the Post Office has our property listed as 307 Marine Ave and has no 309
Marine Ave on file. On the other hand, for our property, the Newport Assessment Office
has only the 309 Marine Ave address on file and no 307 Marine Ave.
I have a call in to Bob Helfman at the Post Office to discuss the most logical way to
number the residences and the stores. When I spoke with him yesterday, he said that he
stores are numerical (1,2, 3, etc), Bob's supervisor suggehad been told that residences needed a different designation than the stores. Since the
sted that we designate the three
residences as AB, C. The other suggestion was for us to designate the residences as 309
Marine Ave and the stores as 307 Marine Ave.
Before I submit a proposal to you, I would like to confirm with Bob and his supervisor
that we can no longer use the " %: " designation on the residences.
Then, we have the other complication of Southern California Edison using different
address than the Post Office. It would be good if we could get them all in sync.
After I speak with Bob, I will write up the proposal you and I spoke about.

Marina, back in March, we were working with the Post Office to remove the "1/2"
designation from all of the address at 307 Marine Ave, Newport Beach 92662. The Post
Office told us that the "1/2" designation did not work in their system.
Over the course of the last few months, we have had many conversations with the post
office, resulting in our purchasing a "Cluster Box" for delivery and us adhering to their
need to eliminate the "1/2" designation. This has all been time consuming, costly, and
inconvenient for our tenants, but we do understand that the Post Office is in dire straights
at this moment.
I recently called up Southern California Edison to let them know that we had to change
over the addresses. In order for them to change their official addresses for us, they need
an official document from Newport Beach telling them it is OK to change and that the
new address designations will be official.
Here are the changes we made to accommodate the Post Office:
307 %z Marine Ave #1 will now be 307 Marine Avenue "A"
307 % Marine Ave #2 will now be 307 Marine Avenue `B"
307 % Marine Ave #3 will now be 307 Marine Avenue "C"

Could you possibly write up a statement telling me that it is OK to use the new addresses
for the residences? I can then forward that to Southern California Edison.

Subject: Addressing for Oasis Senior Center Contractor
Dear Debbie,
Please let this be your authorization for a temporary address for KPRS, the contractor for the Oasis
Senior Center in Corona del Mar. For now, the site address of the Oasis property remains 800
Marguerite Avenue; however, the contractor needs to receive mail at a separate address. We would,
therefore, like the site to have two addresses: 800 Marguerite Avenue (for all mail going to Oasis)
and 801 Narcissus Avenue (for all mail going to KPRS during construction).
FYI only: To confuse the matter further, once the new building is completed, the new address of the
Oasis Senior Center will become 801 Narcissus Avenue and 800 Marguerite Avenue will be removed.

Marina, thank you for taking the time to listen to our address predicament for the stores
and residences located at 307 and 309 Marine Ave, Newport Beach 92662.
Currently, the Post Office has our property listed as 307 Marine Ave and has no 309
Marine Ave on file. On the other hand, for our property, the Newport Assessment Office
has only the 309 Marine Ave address on file and no 307 Marine Ave.
I have a call in to Bob Helfman at the Post Office to discuss the most logical way to
number the residences and the stores. When I spoke with him yesterday, he said that he
had been told that residences needed a different designation than the stores. Since the
stores are numerical (1,2, 3, etc), Bob's supervisor suggested that we designate the three
residences as AB, C. The other suggestion was for us to designate the residences as 309
Marine Ave and the stores as 307 Marine Ave.
Before I submit a proposal to you, I would like to confirm with Bob and his supervisor
that we can no longer use the "Yz " designation on the residences.
Then, we have the other complication of Southern California Edison using different
address than the Post Office. It would be good if we could get them ail in sync.
After I speak with Bob, I will write up the proposal you and I spoke about.

Marina, thank you for taking the time last week to listen to our address predicament for
the 5 stores and 3 residences located at 307 and 309 Marine Ave, Newport Beach 92662.
Currently, the Post Office has our property listed as 307 Marine Ave and has no 309 '
Marine Ave on file. On the other hand, for our property, the Newport Assessment Office
has only the 309 Marine Ave address on file and no 307 Marine Ave.
Additionally, Southern California Edison has different address designations than the Post
Office.
My goal is to get all of the addresses "in -sync" and to make sure that the apartments
which had previously been inhabited by store owners who received their mail at their
stores and not in a designated mailbox to be able to receive mail in mail boxes.
I have been in contact with several Post Office employees, notably, Bob Heilman,
Denise (of Consumer Affairs), Anthony Arjonilla, and have recently been referred to
Debbie, new growth carrier associated with Balboa Island deliveries.
I would very much like to keep the delivery system as it is, with the stores receiving their
mail thra the mail slots in the business doors and having the mail delivered in mail boxes
to the residents.
As far as addresses go, it seems most reasonable to me to continue using the addresses
that Southern California Edison uses as these addresses are tied to electric meters.

No problem with adding an additional suite, but I have a few questions. First, is there a reason why you are
using both suite "letters" and suite "numbers"? It is always nice to be consistent, so I wonder if it's possible to
assign a suite letter instead of the number 9?
My records show that the entire second floor uses "4300 Campus Drive" as the address and that the first floor
consists of "4300A' and "430013". Is this still the case or is there a vacancy in what was once 430013? If there
is a vacancy, will the area be broken up into smaller suites?
I sounds like Themis is going in on the second floor ... is that correct? I'd like to save enough letters for the
possible "breaking up" of the first floor if that is anticipated. So maybe you'd like to use a letter like 4300F or
4300G.
Please let me know your thoughts on this issue.
