architect and Staff Commodore of the South Shore Yacht Club of Newport
Beach. Mr. Mann related to me the discussion you and he had regarding
his request for the U.S. Postal Seruice to assign the address of 2525 W.
Coast Hlghwag to the office space of Hzure Seas Yacht Sales. Mr. Mann,
representing South Shore Yacht Club, is the current lessor of this office to
Rzure Seas Yacht Sales.
Rs manager of the Jorgensen Inuestment Trust, owner of the
property at 2523-2537 W. Coast Highway, I am in complete concurrence
with Mr. Mann and the proprietors of Hzure Seas Yacht Sales in their
request for this address assignment.

We spoke the other day by telephone regarding a need r an address change, and as I was telling you,
we recently bought a residential property located at atolita Drive, Corona del Mar. The property
is on the comer of Patolita Drive and Dolphin Terrace. We will be doing some remodeling to the
property, which will include moving the existing front entry which is on Patolita Drive to Dolphin
Terrace. Since the front entrance will be on Dolphin Terrace, we are requesting an address change
to having our street address be on Dolphin Terrace. We have looked at the surrounding house numbers,
and can see that there is room for our street address to fit at this location in order to flow with the house
numbers next to us on Dolphin Terrace. We are requesting our house number to be 1288 Dolphin
Terrace. We have been informed by the Planning Dept. of Newport Beach that an address change is
critical in case of any type of emergency situation that may ever be called to the residence. We will be
submitting our building plans for a permit within the next 2 weeks to the Planning Dept. Please consider
our request and let us know as soon as possible. Thank you.

Thanks for taking the time to speak with me on the phone the other day regarding my
request to change the address of my home located at 3201& 3201 '/2 E. 15°i Street,
Newport Beach, CA 92663.
Since we have a rhiplex, ive request that our arhlress be changed to 537 and 537 Y,
Westminster Street.
As I mentioned, we have remolded our home and the front door to our house now faces
Westminster Street instead of 15°i street. Our front door was previously on 15s' street but
it has been completely removed and replaced by a solid wall.
We respectfully request that our address be changed to a Westminster Street address to
alleviate any potential confusion for persons that would attempt to find our home by its
current listed address. As it stands, our current address is quite confusing due to the fact
that half of 150' street is located in Costa Mesa and our half is located in Newport Beach.
We feel that it would make emergency calls to the fire department or paramedics much
easier for all parties concerned.
As suggested, I have enclosed a hand drawn sketch of our street.

Subject: Corporate Plaza Address Change
Dear Mr. Morgan:
In response to your request letter dated November 17, 1997, the address changes for
Corporate Plaza have been approved. The permits issued for the new buildings reflect the
new addresses of 24 and 26 Corporate Plaza. The original address of 8 Corporate Plaza
has been changed to 24 Corporate Plaza, and the original address of 9 Corporate Plaza
has been changed to 26 Corporate Plaza.
The Uniform Fire Code states: "Approved numbers or addresses shall be placed on all
new and existing buildings in such a position as to be plainly visible and legible from the
street or road fronting the property. Numbers shall contrast with their background." The
Fire Department suggests large numbers be used, such as those at 23 Corporate Plaza.
It is your responsibility to notify all affected agencies (i.e., Post Office, utility companies,
etc.) of the address assignments.
