Zoning Plan Check Corrections
It is the responsibility of the applicant to satisfy the requirements (clearances) of each of the departments listed in this document.
Normally, each section will stamp your plans indicating their approval.

Please note that Planning and Development Services (PDS) Public Counter Hours are open 7:30am to 4pm,
Monday thru Thursday and Friday by appointment only. (Please call 714 834-5180 to schedule an appointment).

P. Zabrocki1.1 Please be advised that plans are not automatically routed to Zoning. If
your plans require zoning approval, you are required to bring your plans to
the Zoning Counter (after having obtained them from Building Plan Check if
necessary) to have them reviewed.
P. Zabrocki1.2 This plan will not be reviewed at the counter. It must be consistent with
the issued, approved grading plan (GB080061), a copy of which must be submitted
for review. All plans will be reviewed by the assigned planner in the order
received. Please contact your assigned planner when resubmitting plans that
require zoning approval. Your assigned planner will be the planner who reviewed
your grading plan.

Permits (County) or approval letters (private) from easement holders may be
required for work within easement areas.

P. Zabrocki4.1 Please be advised that you will be required to provide a copy of the issued,
approved grading plan, stamped by Zoning, for review of any permit that requires
consistency with the grading plan (house, retaining walls, revisions to issued
grading plan, etc.).

P. Zabrocki5.1 Ensure compliance with conditions of related Planning Application #94-0172.
It is advised that you contact your planner to provide the clearance information
prior to issuance.
P. Zabrocki6 Owner-Contractor: Prior to issuance of Permit
P. Zabrocki6.1 Signature of owner or contractor with Worker´s Compensation; if contractor
intends to file exempt, a valid pocket license must be presented. If an
agent represents owner, the agent must have a notarized letter of authorization
and an owner verification form must be on file with the County of Orange.
