NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on June 27, 2023, the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach, California, adopted an Ordinance entitled:
ORDINANCE NO. 2023-7
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH,
CALIFORNIA, AMENDING NEWPORT BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE SECTION 3.36.030
RELATED TO COST RECOVERY PERCENTAGES
The Ordinance amends Newport Beach Municipal Code Section 3.36.030 (Cost Recovery
Percentages) to update the percentage of cost recovery from a default of 100% to a percent
defined for each service, to ensure compliance with the law, consistency with current practices,
and the maintenance of a high level of customer service.
This Ordinance was adopted by the City Council of the City of Newport Beach, California,
at a regular meeting thereof on the 271h day of June, 2023, by the following vote:
AYES: Mayor Noah Blom, Mayor Pro Tern Will O'Neill, Council Member Brad Avery,
Council Member Robyn Grant, Council Member Lauren Kleiman, Council
Member Joe Stapleton, Council Member Erik Weigand
NAYS: None
