Please be advised that after reviewing the project application, it has been determined that
staff cannot proceed with your application process.
The subject property is located within the North Ford Planned Community (PC) zoning
district and is limited to a maximum height of 32 feet. In June 2002, Verizon Wireless was
granted Conditional Use Permit No. UP2002-007 to exceed the zoning districts base height
limitation by 18 feet which allowed an increased height of 50 feet for the subject monopole.
Per the City’s current Zoning Code Section 20.49.050, the Planning Commission may
approve a maximum 15-foot height increase above the zoning districts height limit which
would allow a maximum height of 47 feet. As per UP2002-007, the existing 50-foot tall
monopole exceeds the maximum height by 3 feet and therefore the monopole height cannot
be extended any further.
Please submit, in writing, a withdrawal letter so staff may close this application and proceed
with a full refund in the amount of $5,000.
