`Gt&E1<M, Trauma Intervention Program, Inc. (TIP) is a national non-profit organization founded in
1985 and has served Orange County since 1995. TTP has 15 affifates serving over 250 cities across the ruction
with each affikate using specialty trained votunteers who respond to traumatic incidents in the support of
survivors and their fami&s in the first few hours following a tragedy; and
`GM�U$S; r1YF votunteers are avaita6le 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and are caned 6y police officers,
firefighters, paramedics, and hospital personnel to assist family members and friends following: a natural or
unexpected death; a violent crime including rape, assault, ro66ery, or 6urgtary; a catastrophic fire; motor
vehicle accidents; and many more significant traumatic events; and
`GI�.fliEUsS, TIF s Orange County affiliate has over 125 active volunteers that serve 26 cities, 14 hospitals,
and numerous pu6tic safety organizations as well as unincorporated Orange County, airports, and har6ors;
and
`VMTff,,AS, TIP has received the prestigious Innovations Award in State and Local government from
.Ifarvard university and Ford Foundation, the Crime victim Service Award from the united States justice
Department, and the Governor's victim Service Award from the State of California; and
` Mf $S, TI�1' will 6e presenting its .Iferoes with Meart Cete6ration Z� Fundraiser on Wednesday,

Fe6ruary 19, 2025, that will recognize the outstanding pu6tic service of Orange County's pu6tic safety and
fire department honorees.
