I am Travis Pirdy's younger brother, and I am writing you(with slight bias) regarding Travis's nomination to be a part of the Parks Beaches and Recreation Commission. Travis's public service has spanned more than two decades through being a Newport Beach Lifeguard, and working for the city in the recreational department. He truly understands the inner workings of the Parks, Beaches and Recreational areas of the city better than most. Travis embodies values that this city has taught him such as love, passion and persistence. These values and his love for the City of Newport Beach make Travis an incredible choice for this commission.
