Dear Ms. Leilani Brown,
I hope this email finds you well. My name is Shani Moslehi, and I am writing on behalf of the
Orange County Iranian American Chamber of Commerce (OCIACC). As the CEO, along
with our board treasurer and a Newport Beach resident, I would like to attend the
upcoming City Council meeting, Tuesday 2/11 at 4:00 PM to request financial support for
the Nowruz Spring Festival and Market.
This event will be held at the Renaissance Hotel and marks the first Nowruz celebration in
Newport Beach, as well as the largest in Orange County to date. We believe this festival
will bring significant cultural and economic value to the city, fostering community
engagement and diversity.
Please let us know if there are any specific procedures, we need to follow to present our
request during the meeting. We appreciate your guidance and look forward to contributing
to Newport Beach's vibrant community.
