RE: Request for consideration to increase the size of the Samsung LED Display
Jill Johnson -Tucker, Chair of the Beyond Books Campaign for Witte Hall,
presented at the Foundation Board Meeting of February 10, 2025, a request to
increase the size of the LED screen in Witte Hall, with the Foundation and the
City sharing equally in the cost.
The Board approved that the Foundation would support a joint change order
with the City to increase the size of the LED screen in Witte Hall, with each side
sharing equally in the cost. The Foundation prefers the approximately 13' x 23'
size, if it can be determined that this size will afford good sightlines, and that the
viewing screen can be adjusted to allow for presentations where the full screen
would not be suitable. If the larger screen is deemed to afford unsuitable
sightlines, the Foundation supports a change order to the approximately 11' x
19' size.
FOUNDERS The Foundation supports this change order and agrees to pay up to 50% of the cost
Elizabeth & John Stahr of the change order not to exceed $70,000 for the 11.07' x 19.69' and $80,000 for
the 13' x 23' screen.
