REGULAR MEETING – 10:00 A.M.
I. CALL TO ORDER – The meeting was called to order at 10:00 a.m.
Staff Present (Remote): Benjamin M. Zdeba, AICP, Zoning Administrator
Laura Rodriguez, Planning Technician
II. REQUEST FOR CONTINUANCES
Laura Rodriguez, Planning Technician, reported that the applicant is requesting to continue Item No. 2. Zoning
Administrator Zdeba acknowledged and highlighted the staff memo submitted as part of the record. With that
request, there would be no discussion or presentation at this meeting. He stated that the matter will be
continued to a future meeting date and will be re-noticed.
III. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
ITEM NO. 1 MINUTES OF JANUARY 30, 2025
Zoning Administrator Zdeba acknowledged written comments were submitted suggesting several edits to the
draft minutes. He invited members of the public to provide any additional comments. Seeing no one wishing to
speak, he expressed concurrence with the written comments and accepted the edits.
Action: Approved as amended
IV. PUBLIC HEARING ITEMS
ITEM NO. 2 Bayshore Café Minor Use Permit (PA2024-0132)
Site Location: 100 West Coast Highway, Suite 104 Council District 2
Action: Continued to a future Zoning Administrator meeting
V. PUBLIC COMMENTS ON NON-AGENDA ITEMS
None.
VI. ADJOURNMENT
The hearing was adjourned at 10:01 a.m.
The agenda for the Zoning Administrator Hearing was posted on February 5, 2025, at 4:30 p.m. on
the digital display board located inside the vestibule of the Council Chambers at 100 Civic Center
Drive and on the City’s website on February 5, 2025, at 4:24 p.m.
