Dear Mr. Puffer:
The City has reviewed and approved the proposed addressing scheme for the 67
residential units at the Residences at 1401 Quail project. Additionally, a non-residential
unit (clubhouse) is included in the addressing scheme. Each unit shall be addressed
consistent with the schematic plan and address list provided and incorporated into this
letter by attachment. Generally, all units will be addressed in the following format based
on floor location “1401 Quail Street, Unit 2XX, 3XX, 4XX, 5XX, or 6XX.” The attached
addressing scheme also includes the following addresses for utility meters:
House Electric Meter: 1401 Quail Street, HM1
House Electric Meter: 1401 Quail Street, HM2
Electrical VNEM Meter: 1401 Quail Street, VNEM
Gas House Meter: 1401 Quail Street, GHMA
Gas House Meter: 1401 Quail Street, GHMB
We will advise City departments; however, it will be your responsibility to inform all other
affected agencies, such as the U. S. Postal Service, Orange County Assessor, utilities,
etc. External address numbers should be at least four inches high, of contrasting color to
their background, and clearly visible from the street. Internal address numbers and
directories shall be conspicuously posted.
