Dear Erin and Jill,
The City has reviewed and approved the proposed addressing scheme for the 192
residential units at the 1300 Bristol Apartments project. Additionally, a non-residential unit
(leasing office) is included in the addressing scheme. Each unit shall be addressed
consistent with the schematic plan and address list provided and incorporated into this
letter by attachment. Generally, all units will be addressed in the following format based
on floor location “1300 Bristol Street N, Unit 2XX, 3XX, 4XX, 5XX, or 6XX.” The attached
addressing scheme also includes the following addresses for utility meters:
House Electric Meter: 1300 Bristol Street N, EM1
House Electric Meter: 1300 Bristol Street N, EM2
Domestic Water Meter: 1300 Bristol Street N, WM
House Gas Meter: 1300 Bristol Street N, GM
Irrigation Water Meter: 1300 Bristol Steet N, IM
Double Check Detector: 1300 Bristol Stret N, DCD
We will advise City departments; however, it will be your responsibility to inform all other
affected agencies, such as the U. S. Postal Service, Orange County Assessor, utilities,
etc. External address numbers should be at least four inches high, of contrasting color to
their background, and clearly visible from the street. Internal address numbers and
directories shall be conspicuously posted.
