Via �y g 71 City Council Study Session April 29, 2025 CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH I, CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH • Approve Budget Amendment for $673,185 from the Facilities Financial Plan (FFP) Fund unappropriated fund balance to the FFP Fund, and; • Approve a Professional Services Agreement with RJM Design Group for the Lower Castaways Aquatics Complex project design contract for the total not -to -exceed amount of $3,924,283, and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the agreement, and; • Approve a Professional Services Agreement with LSA Associates, Inc. for professional and technical support on the environmental clearance related to the Lower Castaways Aquatics Complex project for the total not -to -exceed amount of $502,750; and • Direct staff to prepare the Preliminary Design Development tasks (RJM $670,435) and Environmental Documentation (LSA $502,750) and • Return to City Council for review and approval of Final Concept Design, Environmental Document and Coastal Development Permit prior to authorization of any further design work on the project.
