Retaining Wall
c0.1 In your responses, please refer to the alpha -numeric reference numbers that
are shown at the start of each of the followingcorrection items.
01.2 Retaining wall permit will be issued after Grading permit has been issued.
We have sent a copy of your plans to the Grading inspector for field evaluation.
Upon Grading inspector's report, you may be required to obtain Grading permit.
c7.3 Site plan shall be stamped and wet signed by Civil Engineer. Landscape Architect
stamp and signature is not acceptable.
c6.4 This Retaining wall permit is for the construction of the retaining walls that
are not part of the house structural system.
�► c9.5 The Building Permit is issued to owners and licensed contractors. Agents must
show an authorization letter that has been notarized by a public notary.
�► n r c4.6 Please note on TitleSheet, "Construction Plans and Calculations shall comply
with all of the requirements of the California Building Code 2001 Edition."
�► c5.7 Provide a soil report to justify parameters used in retaining wall design calculations.

c8.8 Soil report shall be approved by the Grading Section prior to permit issuance.
00.9 These retaining walls shall be shown on the approved Grading Plan. Please
provide. If this Grading plan does not show these retaining walls, please revise
to show walls and resubmit.
NATIONAL POLLUTANT DISCHARGE ELIMINATION SYSTEM
02.10 Include "National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Notes" on first sheet
of plans. (This information is provided in the beginning of this document) Item
1 shall be filled out on plans.
03.11 Provide Erosion and Sediment Control(ESCP) plan or show on the Site PLan the
locations iseperatSandbag Barriers_ p____er SE_8 and C.encrete Washout Area Per WIV1 8. This
submittal Is seperate from grading submittal.
