OF DORY FISHING FLEET ZONE PERMIT BY AND BETWEEN
THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, AMANDA BRENEMAN, AND
MARCOS VOYATZIS
THIS CONSENT TO ASSIGNMENT TO DORY FISHING FLEET ZONE PERMIT
("Assignment") is made and entered into as of this 12th day of May, 2025 ("Effective
Date"), by and between the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, a California municipal
corporation and charter city ("City"), AMANDA BRENEMAN, an individual ("Assignor")
and MARCOS VOYATZIS, an individual ("Assignee"), individually referred to as "Party"
or collectively "Parties."
RECITALS
A. On March 1, 2018, City and Scott Breneman entered into a Dory Fishing Fleet
Zone Permit, for Shed Nos. 7 and 8 ("Permit") for commercial Dory Fishing Fleet
Activity (City Agreement No. C-7339-3).
B. On January 23, 2024, Scott Breneman died and pursuant to that certain Affidavit
for Collection of Personal Property dated February 19, 2025, the interest in the use
of all Sheds by Scott Breneman was transferred to Amanda Breneman
("Assignor").
C. On March 1, 2018, City and Assignee entered into a Dory Fishing Fleet Zone
Permit (City Agreement No. C-7339-5), for commercial Dory Fishing Fleet Activity
for the use of Shed Nos. 10, 11, 13 and 15..
D. Assignor now desires to transfer, convey, assign, and set over unto Assignee, and
Assignee desires to accept and assume same from Assignor, all of the rights and
interests of the Permit for Shed Nos. 7 and 8.
NOW, THEREFORE, it is mutually agreed by and between the undersigned parties
as follows:
1. CONSENT AND ASSIGNMENT
1.1. The City does hereby consent to the assignment of Assignor's interest in
and to the Permit to Assignee, subject to the terms and conditions of this Assignment.
1.2 As of the Effective Date, Assignor hereby assigns, transfers and sets over
unto Assignee, all of the rights and interests of the Permit, including the use of Shed Nos.
7 and 8.
