Insituform, LLC. of Chesterfield, Missouri. This project will install 520 lineal feet of cured -
in -place pipe within the existing 15-inch sewer pipeline along Via Lido between Newport

RECOMMENDATIONS:
a) Find this project exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA)

negligible or no expansion of capacity) of the CEQA Guidelines, because this project
has no potential to have a significant effect on the environment;
b) Approve the project plans and specifications;
c) Award Contract No. 9438-1 to Insituform, LLC. for the total bid price of $333,439.00
for the Via Lido Sewer Main Lining project, and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to
execute the contract; and
d) Establish a contingency of $50,000.00 (approximately 15 percent of the total bid) to
cover the cost of unforeseen work not included in the original contract.
DISCUSSION:
The proposed project includes furnishing and installing 520 lineal feet of water cured -in -
place pipe within the existing 15-inch sewer pipeline along Via Lido between Newport

providing and running the sewer bypass system, performing pre and post CCTV
inspection, cleaning and inspecting the host pipe, liner installation and curing, removing
excess resin, fabric and re-establishing sewer laterals and manhole openings.
