This project was inspected within the limits of customary access for compliance with the approved
irrigation plans on file in City Planning. At least two (2) inspections were conducted. The findings are as
follows.

1. Location of mainline conforms to as -built plan
2. Size of mainline conforms to plan
3. Depth of mainline conforms to plan
4. Main line conditions is undamaged
5. Mainline pressure tested with water and meter to check for visible leaks

1. Irrigation POC has isolation valve
2. System components (i.e., controller, backflow, rain sensor, etc.)
3. Drip line GPH and spacing as specified

6. Matched precipitation rates provided by zone
7. As -built plan provided to owner

THE IRRIGATION SYSTEM IS IN COMPLIANCE. SEETHE ATFACTED PUNCH LIST ITEMS REQUIRED FOR A
CERTIFICATION OF COMPLETION. THESE ITEMS MAYBE COMPLETED DURING THE 90 DAY MAINTENACE
PERIOD. THE OWNER / DEVELOPER WILL DETERMINE WHEN THE MAINTENACE PERIOD WILL BEGIN.

All of the hydrozones on the irrigation systems were evaluated with a visual inspection. As per your request,
we evaluated the irrigation systems in accordance with the California Model Water Efficient Landscape
Ordinance (MWELO).
SUMMARY
This audit was conducted to inspect the overall site irrigation systems within the limits of construction. The
irrigation systems are new systems utilizing POTABLE water.
IRRIGATION PLANS:
Each hydrozone identified on the plans were executed in the field, (Total valve qty. 6). Each system layout,
components and functionality have met all the requirements of the Irrigation Plans.
MWELO:
The California Model Water Efficient Landscape Ordinance has been adopted by the City as the standard for
new construction and irrigation installations based on AB1881.
UNIFORMITY:
The existing parkways on this street are overhead spray lawn areas. It was verified that the 6" POP-UP / SAM-
PRS bodies were also using new MPR VAN nozzles. The systems were operational with the controller. low
efficiency nozzles installed and a 24" drip line buffer edge adjacent to paving.
There are (2) overhead spray systems in the rear yard to operate manually. These systems are for cooling
down on the synthetic lawn surface.

Zone Audit Conclusion: PASS, project IS within compliance to begin maintenance.
The irrigation systems were evaluated and based on the Irrigation Association Audit rules/guidelines and
MWELO requirements.

professional landscape design services.
(2) The landscape project for the property located at 1700 PORT MANLEIGH PL
(provide street
address or parcel number(s)) was installed by me or under my supervision.
(3) The landscaping for the identified property has been installed in substantial
conformance with the approved Landscape Documentation Package and complies with
the requirements of the City of Newport Beach Water Efficient Landscape Ordinance
(Municipal Code Section 14.17) and the City of Newport Beach Standards for
Implementation of the City of Newport Beach Water Efficient Landscape Ordinance for
the efficient use of water in the landscape.
(4) The following elements are attached hereto
a. Irrigation scheduling parameters used to set the controller;
b. Landscape and irrigation maintenance schedule;
c. Irrigation audit report; and
d. Soil analysis report, if not submitted with Landscape Documentation Package,
and documentation verifying implementation of the soil report recommendations.
(5) The site installation complies with the following:
a. The required irrigation system has been installed according to approved plans
and specifications and if applicable, any prior approved irrigation system
alternatives.
