HomeMy WebLinkAbout12 - Amendment to Newport Place Planned Community Development Plan to Revise the Minimum Affordability Housing Percentage of the Residential Overlay (PA2023-0082) - Ordinance PostingCITY OF NEWPORT BEACH PUBLIC NOTICE ORDINANCE SUMMARY NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on July 25, 2023, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach, California, introduced an Ordinance entitled: ORDINANCE NO. 2023-13 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING NEWPORT PLACE PLANNED COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PLAN AMENDMENT (PA2023-0082) The Ordinance would change the minimum inclusionary housing requirement of Residential Overlay from 30 percent to 15 percent. This Ordinance was introduced by the City Council of the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting thereof on the 25th day of July, 2023, by the following vote: AYES: Mayor Noah Blom, Council Member Brad Avery, Council Member Robyn Grant, Council Member Lauren Kleiman, Council Member Erik Weigand NAYS: None RECUSED: Mayor Pro Tern Will O'Neill, Council Member Joe Stapleton Second reading of Ordinance No. 2023-13 will occur at the August 22, 2023 City Council meeting.
