On behalf of the City Council and our community, I want to extend my sincere
gratitude for your most recent presentation on the history of Fashion Island. As with
your many presentations before it, you brought our city's past to life in such a
thoughtful, engaging way.
It was especially meaningful to recognize you at that same meeting as our Historian
Laureate. This honor is a reflection of your dedication, passion, and the countless
hours you have given to preserving and sharing our history. We are truly fortunate to
have your expertise and storytelling talents enriching our city.
Thank you once again for your invaluable contributions. I look forward to many more
opportunities to learn from your work and to Celebrate Newport and the history that
