his youth took on countless jobs, from washing dishes and delivering mail to cleaning cars andguarding Christmas
trees, aff to help make ends meet and build a foundation of hard work and
`WJiERW, TedRobinson prouffy served four years in the V nited States Army between the Korean and Vietnam
wars, stationed in Okinawa, where he demonstrated courage and devotion to our country; and
`WJLE4ff.,&, upon returning home, 7ed pursued a diverse and successful career, from student journalism at V CLA's
Daily Bruin to positions in banking and public relations, before uftimatefy finding his passion in real estate
development; and
`WJLE4 S, through Robinson Development, 7edspearheadedprojects across California, including shopping centers
and community spaces leaving a fasting impact on focal economies and neighborhoods; and
` MTff,7S, after moving to Newport Beach in 1976, Tedpurchased Larson's Shipyard in 1978 as the home for
Robinson Development, rooting his business and fife in our city, where he has now been a resident for nearly 50 years;
and
`WJIERW, beyond his professional success, Ted Robinson has always placed family, faith, and community at the
center of his life, serving as a proud neighbor and citizen whose contributions enrich the character of Newport Beach.
