I. ADMINISTRATIVE

NOTE: It is the responsibility of the applicant to
satisfy the requirements of each of the above
sections or departments. Normally each
section will stamp your plans indicating their
approval.
B. This correction list covers plan check of
residential occupancies R-3) and garage/carports
only. Recreational buildings, sales offices,
retaining walls, etc. will require separate plan
submittals to Commercial/Industrial Plan Check
Section for approval.
C. Application for which no permit is issued within
180 days following the date of application shall
expire by limitation. An extension of 180 days
may be granted upon written request showing
circumstances beyond the control of the applicant
have prevented action being taken. In order to
renew action for an application after expiration.
the applicant shall resubmit plans and pay a new
plan check fee. Sec. 106.4.4.
D. At building permit issuance, one (1) additional
set of plans consisting of summary or title sheet,
plot plan. floor plans and elevations shall be
required for the Assessor's Office.
II. INFORMATION
A. A GRADING PERMIT and ROUGH GRADING
approvals are required. NOTE: Building permit
will not he issued until "Rough Grading"
approval is obtained from the grading inspector.

B. A SOIL/GEOTECHNICAL REPORT shall be
approved by Grading Section prior to issuance of
building permit. All recommendations shall be
incorporated into foundation plans.
C. The applicant must submit two sets of plans to
the Orange County Fire Authority directly.
OCFA approval is required on 2 sets of plans
before any building permits can be issued.
D. Valid Worker's Compensation Certificate or
Owner -Builder Verification is required prior to
issuance of building permits.
I. Three final sets of plans shall be signed by the
Structural or Civil Engineer or Architect
responsible for this project. The third set is for
the Assessor's Office.
J. Plans cannot be rechecked at the counter.
Resubmit and allow additional time for recheck.
K. Provide will -serve letters from the utility
company for water and sewer service for tracts of
single family dwellings.

§114: Pool and Spa Heating Systems and Equipment
1. System is certified with 78% thermal efficiency, on -off switch, weatherproof operating instructions,
no electric,resistance heating and no pilot light.

a. At least 36" pipe between filter and heater for future solar heating.
b. Cover for outdoor pools or outdoor spa.
