Plan Check Review Process • The plan review signature page is attached to the set of plans and placed out for designated staff to review. • Email notice is sent out to the Superintendents/Supervisors, informing them that plans have arrived and are ready for review (due date is also included). Superintendents/Supervisors are given approximately eight days to review the plans. • Sticky notes are used to mark pages of the plan that have comments. • Forward the plans to the Deputy Director for review/approval. • Once approved by the Deputy Director, a copy of the plan review signature page is saved as a pdf and filed electronically. • Total turn -around time is typically 10 days unless otherwise requested by Public Works.
