Draft Eiz, is Availaole Since it is believed that this project does not have significant environmental impact, no EIR has been prepared. ..I..d.o dal Me P11 Coast Community Coiiege district 1370 ADAMS AVENUE • COSTA MESA • CALIFORNIA 92626 October 25, 1974 NORMAN E• WATSON • CHANCELLOR THE FOLLOWING IS A TRUE AND EXACT COPY OF AN EXCERPT FROM THE MINUTES OF THE SEPTEMBER 18, 1974 MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES, COAST COMMUNITY COLLEGE DISTRICT: BUILDINGS AND GROUNDS REPORT NO. 8.2 Authorization to File Negative Declaration, Sailing Facility Addition It was noted that an initial study of the environmental impact of the proposed addition to the Orange Coast College Intercollegiate Rowing and Sailing Base Building has been made pursuant to revised and amended guidelines for the evaluation of projects, including procedures for the evaluation of projects as required by the Environmental Quality Act of 1970 and as adopted by the Board on February 20, 1974; and that the results of this study indicate the project will not have significant effect upon the environment. In view of these facts, it was moved by Mr. Keene and seconded by Mr. Humphreys that authorization be given to prepare and file a negative declaration as provided in paragraph "D" of the above -referenced amended procedures for the evaluation of projects. Motion carried with the following vote: Aye - Mr. Keene, Mr. Humphreys, Mr. Kettler, Mr. Rodda and Mr. Hoff. Nay - None. Absent - None. th (Mrs.) Thelma C.
