Coast Highway PROJECT DESCRIPTION: R,quest to permit the constructions a restaurant and office building in the Recreational Marine Commercial area of the Mariner's Mile Specific Plan area which exceeds the basic height limit of 26 feet in the 26/35 Foot Height Limit- ation District and contains a greater gross floor area than .5 times the buildable area The proposal also includes a modification to the Zoning Code so as•to allow the use of campact car spaces for a portion of the required offstreet parking spaces to encroach into the required front setback area and the acceptance of an offsite parking agreement for a portion of the required offstreet parking, FINDING: Pursuant to the provisions of City Council Policy K-3 pertaining to procedures and guidelines to implement the California Environmental Quality Act, the Environmental Affairs Committee has evaluated the proposed project and determined that the proposed project will not have a significant effect on the environment.
