Description of Nature, Purpose, and Beneficiaries of Project:
Change from a combination of incandescent and mercury vapor lamps mounted on a variety of
pole styles to a high pressure sodium vapor lamp mounted on a city standard pole, with
overhead wiring to be placed underground.
The general public will benefit inasmuch as the new system will be more energy efficient,
safe, uniform and aesthetically pleasing than the existing system.
