NAME OF PROJECT:
PROJECT LOCATION: City-wide in the City of Newport Beach
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Proposal is to permit residential uses in the M-1-A District.
FINDING: Pursuant to the provisions of City Council Policy K-3 pertaining to
procedures and guidelines to implement the California Environmental Quality
Act, the Environmental Affairs Committee has evaluated the proposed project
and determined that the proposed project will not have a significant effect
on the environment.
MITIGATION MEASURES:Proposed residential uses in the M-1-A
to a separate discretionary review and only allowed when:
1. The proposed resident'owns the existing structure and
2. In conjunction with permitted use as described in the
the proposed resident is the major business operator.
3. In no event should there be more than one residential
