of Newport Beach at Big Canyon; see attached plan
showing limits of the project in red.
2. PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The project consists of completing the existing improve-
ments for Jamboree Road including sidewalks, street
lights, curb and gutter, paving, and storm drainage
facilities. These improvements will extend from Ford
Road southerly approximately 950 L.F.
3. PURPOSE OF PROJECT:
To provide regional bicycle trail and pedestrian walkway
and pave the existing unimproved shoulder.
4. DISCUSSION OF ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACTS:
a) Land Resources
The right of way for Jamboree Road was reserved and
dedicated as a portion of the City approved Master
Plan Street System.
b) Human Resources
There are no known situations which would effect
the residential developments in the adjacent areas.
c) Geologic Hazards
There are no known unique geologic hazards associated
with the area. A minimum of grading will be required.
d) Flooding, Erosion & Siltation
The proposed construction of Jamboree Road will
eliminate all of the present erosion. The existing

underground conduit system.
e) Ground Water

f) Noise Level
The improvement of Jamboree Road will not change
the ambient noise levels for the surrounding areas.
g)
Air Resources
This project will not increase or decrease the total
volume of vehicle emissions.
h) Vegatation and Animal Life
There are no known rare or endangered species of
animal or plant life within or adjacent to the
project area.
i) Summary
