Study Session:
Wireless Telecommunications Facilities: to improve telecommunications
connectivity citywide, staff will present potential code amendments and policy
changes related to personal wireless service facilities in the public right-of-way
and identify opportunities to partner with carriers on City -owned properties. Staff
will also seek City Council feedback on potential changes to regulations for
personal wireless service facilities on private property.

4 Public comments: One resident was in support, two discussed the proposal's
lack of public notification, as to sites of cell phone towers, and two spoke about
health risk concerns.

Councilwoman Robyn Grant asked for clarification about the presentation's
statement that there would be no discretionary approval or public

Public Comments: Two residents commented that they were concerned about the
reduction in transparency. Both commented on the potential suspension of future
Finance Committee meetings, and one commented on the practice of no longer
providing the public with printed City Council Meeting agendas in the lobby or at
the library.
