NOTICE OF ADOPTED ORDINANCE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on January 13, 2026, the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach, California, adopted the Ordinance entitled:
ORDINANCE NO. 2025-37
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH,
CALIFORNIA, AMENDING VARIOUS PROVISIONS OF THE NEWPORT BEACH
MUNICIPAL CODE TO REFLECT ORGANIZATIONAL RESTRUCTURING TO THE
CITY ATTORNEY, FINANCE, HUMAN RESOURCES, AND PUBLIC WORKS
DEPARTMENTS
Adopted Ordinance No. 2025-37, updates the Newport Beach Municipal Code to reflect
the organizational restructuring and references to the new departments and service area
changes throughout the Municipal Code.
Ordinance No. 2025-37 was approved by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Barto, Blom, Grant, Kleiman, Stapleton,
Weber and Weigand
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
RECUSED: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
The ordinance will become effective 30 days after adoption date. A copy of the above ordinance
is available at the City Clerk's Department, 100 Civic Center Drive, Newport Beach, California or
by calling (949) 644-3005.
