Minutes of the regular meeting on September 19, 1963 a
adjourned meeting on October 3, 1963 were approved on
motion of Commissioner Rea, seconded by Commissioner
Clark, and carried.

FINAL MAPS
Tract 5361
The final map of Tract 5361, being a proposed subdivi-
sion of a Portion of Block 54, Irvine's Subdivision
consisting of 3.44 acres divided into 4 C -1 -H lots
located south of Coast Highway 101 between Bayside
Drive and the Upper Bay Channel was recommended to the
City Council for approval, subject to the following
conditions:
1. That all improvements be constructed as

2. That the following Sections of the Subdivision
Ordinance be waived and the changes approved
as noted:
A. (Section 9253.21) The final map may
be drawn to a scale larger than 1" = 100'
provided a map drawn accurately to a

B. (Section 9255.23) Curbs not be required
along Coast Highway in the vicinity of
the bridge.
C. (Section 9255.28) Street lighting not
be required along Coast Highway.
D. (Section 9254.15) Service road not be
required along Coast Highway if access
rights to Coast Highway are dedicated from
Lots 1, 3 and A.
3. Left turn pocket be provided on Coast Highway

at access to Lot 2 subject to approval of
State Division of Highways.
4. Water line be constructed to serve Lots 1,

ADDITIONAL. BUSINESS
Chairman Clemente appointed a Committee consisting of
Commissioners Ficker, Downing and Jakosky to draft
findings for submission to the City Council in
connection with Amendment No. 173 filed by Jordan &
Benjamin, Inc., which requests the rezoning of Portion
of Lot 2, Lots 3, 4 and 5, Block G, Tract 323, located
at 2931 B. Coast Highway, Corona del Mar, California
from a C -1 to a C -O -Z District.

On motion of Commissioner Rea, seconded by Commissioner
Clark, and carried, the meeting was adjourned until
November 7, 1963 at 8:00 P.M. in the City Council
Chambers.
