SPECIAL MEFTING CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
• Held at the City Hall, 7:30 P. M. November 15, 1928.
The Members present - Briggs, Williamson, Fenelon,
Greeley, Sloan,
Consultants - Rollin McNitt'
The minutes of the meetings of July 10th, and August`
29th, were read and approved as corrected.
Letters from Protestants to the suggested zoning of
Blocks 131 and 132, Corona Del Mar were read.
A petition signed by Samuel Tustin requesting a
change in the suggested zoning of a portion of
Corona Del Pear was received and referred to Mr.
V.'hitnall for a report.
Tentative Maps of a hesubdivision to be numbered
Tract 919, was presented for tentative approval.
A motion was offered by Greeley, seconded by Sloan
and c&r_ *i i to refer this map to Pair. Whitnall to be
checked against the Major Traffic Street Plan.
Mr. Bowman spoke in behalf of Mr. Sparr, requesting
that the zoning of Corona Del Mar east of Marguerite
to Poppy Avenua and south of the Coast Highway be
made to conform to the deed restrictions, same
being mostly for single private residence' purposes
with the exception of the highway frontage and
Marguerite Avenue.
Pr. Russell's . petition to the Board of Trustees
regarding the Oil Refining and oil wells in the
westerly portion of the city, having been referred
to the Planning Commission for a recommendation, was,
upon motion by Greeley, seconded by ienelon and
carried, received for study and determination of the
amount of property represented by the signatures.
The proposed zoning ordinance was studied and
corrected.
