Legion Post; Mrs. Mary Stevens of the American
Legion Auxiliary, Theodore Kimmell, Commander
of'Post 291; Jim Shirley, not a resident of
the area but a past Commander of the 29th
District representing all of Orange County;
Donald Hart, not a member of the Legion but a
resident of West Newport; Clara B. Kecker.

The following people protested the granting
of the application: Bill Rankin, President
of the West Newport.Improvement Association
representing approximately 400 residents of
the Newport area; George D. Roberts, attorney,
representing the Balboa Coves Community Asso-
ciation; Glen Ferguson, who lives in Balboa
Coves within a stone's throw of the facility;
Cliff Rignall of.Balboa Coves.
