ROLL CALL Commissioners Present: Clark, Jakosky, Curtis, Clemence,
Autry, Copelin, Rea, Downing
Commissioners Absent: Dosh
MINUTES Minutes of the regular meeting on November 19, 1964 and
adjourned meeting on December 3, 1964 were approved on
motion of Commissioner Rea, seconded by Commissioner
Jakosky, and carried.

FINAL MAPS The final map of Tract 5783, being a proposed subdivision
of a Portion of Lot 169, Block 2, Irvine's Subdivision,
consisting of 3.89 acres divided into 20 R -3 lots,
located on the southwest corner of Dana and Flagship
Road, Newport Beach, was recommended to the City Council
for approval, subject to the following conditions: Motion x

1. That all improvements, including sidewalks, be All Ayes
constructed as required by Ordinance and the
Public works Department.
• 2. That electric and telephone utilities be
installed underground. (Section 9255.28(a).)
3. That Section 9253.21 of the Subdivision Ordinance
regarding scale of the final map be waived
provided a map drawn accurately to a scale of
1" - 100' is furnished the Public works
Department.
4. That the design section of Flagship Road and
Dana Road be 40' curb to curb on 56' right -of-
way in accordance with the width approved in
Tract 4692. (Section 9254.14.)
5. That all utilities in Flagship Road and Dana
Road be completed.
6. That Dana Road be fully improved and that the
northwesterly half of Flagship Road be fully
improved.
7. That the alleys be private and paved with 2"
A.C. over 4" A.B. and that a 2' concrete alley
gutter be provided. Alleys must be a minimum
of 25' in width.
• 8. That a 4' sidewalk adjacent to the curb on
Dana Road, Patrice Road, and Flagship Road
be provided, and that a 4' sidewalk on each
side of Gangi Lane be provided adjacent to

the curb line.
.9. That street tree planting be in accordance
with specifications of the Parks, Beaches
& Recreation Department.

to amend Article IX of the Newport Beach Municipal Code

limits, basement and heights of buildings was recommende

until January 7, 1965 at 8:00 P.M. in the City Council
