'AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH ADDING A
NEW SECTION TO BE NUMBER-
. ED SEC. 25%2 TO ORDINANCE NO.
110 OF SAID CITY, AND PRE-
SCRIBING THE ANNUAL LI-
CENSE FOR CERTAIN BUSINESS-
ES.
The Board of Trustees of the City
of Newport Beach do ordain as fol-
lows:
Sec. 1. A new section is hereby
added to Ordinance No. 110 of the
City of Newport Beach to be number-
!ed Sec. 25/2: -
, • Sec. 251/2. For every person who,
at and within the City of Newport
Beach, shall sell, offer for sale, hawk,
peddle or vend any vegetable, green
fruit, melons, or berries from a cart
or wagon or at any place not connect- ,
ed with an established business, and
for which a license is provided for by
some other provision of this Ordi-
nance, shall pay an annual license in
I Sec. 2. This Ordinance shall take
effect and be in force from and after
its final passage, and in the mean
time it shall be printed and published
once in the NEWPORT NEWS, 'a
newspaper of general circulation,
printed, published and circulated in
the City of Newport Beach.
The above and foregoing Ordinance.
No. 145 was passed at a regular meet-'
ing of the Board o£ Trustees of the!,
City of Newport Beach held on the}- -
19th day of August, 1918, by th`e fol-
lowing vote, and on said day was sign-
ed and approved by the President of,
the Board of Trustees.

Schnitker, Geo. P. Wilson, L. S. Wil -1
Mason.
Noes —None.
Absent — Trustee J. C. McCain.
The above and foregoing Ordinance
No. 145 is approved by me this 19th
day of August, 1918.
