ORDINANCE NO. 467
WHEREAS, Ralph P. Maskey, of
the City of Newport Beach, Cali-
fornia, has offered to purchase
from the City of Newport Beach,
a Municipal corporation of the
sixth class of Orange County,
California, all that certain real
property situated in the City of
Newport Beach, County of Orange,
State of California, and more par-
ticularly described as follows, to-
wit:

tinder an agreement or option to
purchase, at the prices and on the
terms and under the conditions
particularly set forth in said agree-
ment or option to purchase, which
said agreement or option is now
on file in the office of the City
Clerk of the City of Newport Beach,
where the same may be inspected
by all persons interested therein;
and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion and
judgment of the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that
the considerations offered by said
Ralph P. Maskey, for the purchase
of said real property is in all.ie-
spects fair, just and adequate and
that the best interests of said city
of Newport Beach will be served
by the execution and delivery of
said agreement or option to pur-
chase said real property, by the
said Ralph P. Maskey, from the
city of Newport Beach; and
WHEREAS, it is likewise the
opinion and judgment of the City
Council of the city of Newport
Beach that said agreement or
option to purchase by said Ralph
P. Maskey, of all of said property,
upon the terms, conditions and
Covenants set forth in said agree-
ment or option to purchase, be
executed by the City Council of
the city of Newport Beach, within
ten days from and after the time
this ordinance shall take effect.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED: That the public be
notified through publication of this
o= dinance, of the intention of the
City Council of the city of New -
nort Beach to execute said agree-
ment or option to purchase, and to
sell the real property in this ordi-
nance described to 'the said Ralph
P. Maskey, for the considerations
in said agreement mentioned, and
upon the terms and covenants
thereof; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:
That the City Clerk of the city
of Newport Beach shall cause this
ordinance to be published once in
NEWPORT NEWS, a newspaper
of general circulation,' printed,
published and circulated in the
city of Newport Beach, and that
this ordinance shall take effect
and be in full force and effect
thirty days after its passage.
I hereby certify that the above
and foregoing Ordinance was intro-
duced at an adjourned regular
meeting of the City Council of the
city of Newport Beach, held on the
21st day of March, 1938, and was
finally passed and adopted on the
4th day of April. 1938, bysaid City
Council, at a regular meeting
thereof, by the following vote.

NOES. COUNCILMEN: None.
