ORDINANCE NO. 886
ORDINANCE CHANGING THE
NAME OF SAN BERNARDINO
AVENUE IN THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH TO
RIVERSIDE AVENUE
The City Council of the City
of Newport Beach does ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1. That certain por-
tion of public street known as
San Bernardino Avenue and that
certain portion of public street
known as Cliff Drive, said portions
of said streets lying between the
State Highway and t h e south-
westerly prolongation of the
southeasterly I n e of Riverside
Avenue, in the City of Newport
Beach, as shown on a m a p of
Tract No. 1133, recorded in Map
Book 36, pages 13 and 14, records
of the County of Orange, State
of California, shall hereafter be
called and the name of said por-
tion of San Bernardino Avenue
and of said portion of Cliff Drive,
included as aforesaid, are hereby
declared to be Riverside Avenue.
SECTION 2. T h i a Ordinance
Shall be published once in t h e
Newport - Balboa Press, a n e w s-
paper printed and published and
of general circulation in the City
of Newport Beach, and the same
shall be in force thirty days after
its passage.
The foregoing Ordinance was
Introduced at a regular meeting
of the City Council of the City
of Newport Beach held on the 14th
day of February, 1949, and was
finally passed and adopted on the
28th day of February, 1949, at
a regular meeting of the City
Council by the following vote, to
wit:

GREELEY
ROBERTSON
ISBELL
BLUE
DRAKE
NOES, COUNCILMEN
NONE
ABSENT, COUNCILMEN
NONE
