OPPDIINANCE AMENDING SEC-
' TION 7305 OF THE 15IDNIC1-
PAL CODE PROVIDING FOR
TFIE RE - ESUIBLISHMENT
OF THE OFFICIAL BENCH
11IARK FOR THE CITY OF
riEWPORT BEACH.
The City Council of the City of
Newport Beach does ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1: Section 7305 of the
Municipal Code of the City Of
Newport Beach is hereby amended
to read as follows:
"Section 7305. Same. Estab-
lishment of. An afficial bench
"mark or datum 'plane monu-
ment is hereby established in
and for the City, which bench
mark or datum plan monu-
ment is based at the top Of
that certain brass plug erect-
ed in the concrete foundation
of the flag pole, located in
front of the City Hall, said
flag pole being one hundred
seventy -five feet (175') east-
erly of the center line of 32nd
Street and one hundred thirty -
Peven feet (137') southerly of
the southerly right of way line
of Newport Boulevard; and
the elevation of said bench
mark or datum plan monu-
ment shall be one hundred
thirteen and ten one hunt
dredths (113.10) above the
datum plane or bench mark
established by Section 7304
of this Chapter."
SECTION 2: This ordinance
shall be published at least once in
the Newport Balboa Press, a
newspaper of general circulation
printed and published in the City
of Newport Beach and shall be in
force and effect 30 days after the
final passage thereof.
The above and foregoing ordin-
ance was introduced at a regular
meeting of the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach held on the
22nd day of May, 1950, and waa
finally passed and adopted on the
12th day of June, 1950, by the
following vote, to -wit:
AYES, Councilmen Finch,
Drake, Greeley, Blue, Isbell
NOES, Cour-cihnen, None.
ABSENT, Councilmen, None.
