ORDINANCE NO. 810
WHEREAS, the City Charter of
the City of Newport Beach pro-
vides that when any territory is
annexed to the City of Newport
Beach, the City Council shall, by
ordinance, add the territory to
the adjacent district or districts;
and
WHEREAS, a certain territory
referred to as "Tustin Avenue
and 22nd Street Annex" has been
annexed to the City of Newport
Beach; and
WHEREAS, the territory re-
ferred to as "Tustin Avenue and
22nd Street Annex" is adjacent to
the Fourth District;
NOW THEREFORE, the City
Council of the City of Newport
Beach does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1: That the territory
referred to as "Tustin Avenue
and 22nd Street Annex" be added
to the Fourth District, and that
the Fourth District designated in
Section 1009 of the Charter of the
City of Newport Beach shall in-
clude all that portion of the City
included within the following
described boundary line, to wit:
Beginning at the intersection
of the center line of ORA•43 -A
and the center line of ORA•60 -A;
thence easterly along said cen•
ter line of State Highway ORA•
60 -A and along the center line
of State Hwy. ORA -60-B to an in.
tersection with the southeasterly
prolongation of the court decree
line between Stations 16•B and
17, as described in the court de-
cree established by Superior
Court Case No. 20436 of the Supe•
rior Court in and for the County
of Orange, State of California;
thence northwesterly along said
southeasterly prolongation to a
point of intersection with the
northerly line of said State High-
way ORA -60•B said point being
in the boundary line of the City
of Newport Beach; thence con-
tinuing generally northeasterly
along said City Boundary line
through its various courses to a
point of intersection with the
northwesterly line of Black 55 as
shown upon a map of Irvine's
Subdivision recorded in Miscel-
laneous Record Maps, Book 12
page 88, Records of Orange Coun-
ty, California; thence continuing
northeasterly along said City
Boundary line to an angle point
in said boundary line, said angle
point being the most easterly
corner of the south one - quarter
('/4) of Block 51 of said Irvine's
Subdivision; thence continuing
generally northwesterly along
said City Boundary line through
its various courses to an angle
point in said boundary line, said
angle point being the point of
intersection of the southwesterly
line of Mesa Drive and the
southeasterly line of Tustin Ave-
nue; thence southwesterly along
said southeasterly line of Tustin
Avenue and along said City
Boundary line to a point of in•
tersection with the northeasterly
line of 22nd Street; thence south-
easterly along said northeasterly
line of 22nd Street to a point of
intersection with the southeast•
erly line of Irvine Avenue; thence
continuing a l o n g said . City
boundary line and southwesterly
along said southeasterly line of
Irvine Avenue to an intersection
with the southwesterly line of
16th Street; thence northwesterly
along the said southwesterly line
of 16th Street and along said City
Boundary line to a point of inter-
section with the southeasterly
line of Tustin Avenue; thence
southwesterly along said south•
easterly line and along said City
Boundary line to a point of in-
tersection with the center line of
15th Street; thence northwesterly
along said center line of 15th
Street and along said City Bound-
ary line to an intersection with
the southeasterly line of Supe-
rior Avenue; thence southwest.

line of Superior Avenue to the
most westerly corner of that cer•
tain parcel of land granted to the
City of Newport Beach by deed
dated January 22, 1919 and re-
corded in Book 330, Page 22, of
Deeds, Records of said Orange
County; thence continuing gen•
erally southerly along said City
Boundary line through its var•
ious courses to an angle point in
said City Boundary line, said an•
gle point being the point of in•
tersection of the northwesterly
line of State Highway ORA•43•A
and the northerly line of State
Highway ORA•60•A; thence east•
erly along the easterly prolonga-
tion of said northerly line to a
point of intersection with the
center line of said State Highway
ORA•43 -A; thence southerly
along said center line to the
point of beginning.
SECTION 2: This ordinance
shall be published at least once
in the Newport Harbor Ensign,
a newspaper of general circula•
tion, printed and published and
circulated in the City of Newport
Beach, and the same shall be
in full force and effect 30 days
after this passage.
The above and foregoing ordi•
nance was introduced at a regu•
lar meeting of the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach
held on the 28th day of January,
1957, and was finally passed and
adopted on the 11th day of Feb-
ruary, 1957, by the following
vote, to wit:
