AN ORDINANCE OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
AMENDING DISTRICT MAP
NO. 17 ADOPTED BY SEC-
TION 9102.2 OF THE NEW-
PORT BEACH MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO ZON-
ING.
The City Council of the City of
Newport Beach does ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1: The following de.
scribed real property in the City
of Newport Beach, County of Or-
ange, State of California, to wit:
Lots 1 and 3, Block 337, in
Corona del Mar Tract, as per
map recorded in Miscellan-
eous Map Book 3, page 42,
Records of said Orange
County,
as shown on District Map No. 17
attached to Ordinance No. 635
and as referred to in Section
9102.2 of the Newport Beach Mu-
nicipal Code and made a part of
Article IX of said Code, be, and
the same is, hereby rezoned from
an R -2 District to a C.1 -11 Dis-
trict and said Map No. 17 is
hereby amended to show this
zoning change.
SECTION 2: The following de-
scribed real property in the City
of Newport Beach, County of Or-
ange, State of California, to wit:
Lots 4, 5, 6 and 7 in Block "I"
in Tract 323, as per map re-
corded in Miscellaneous Map
Book 14, pages 40 and 41,
Records of said Orange
County,
.as shown on District Map No. 17
attached to Ordinance No. 635
and, as referred to in Section
9102.2 of the Newport Beach Mu-
nicipal Code and made a part of
Article IX of said Code, be, and
the same is, hereby rezoned from
a C -1 District to a C -1 -11 District
and said Map No. 17 is hereby
amended to show this zoning
change.
SECTION 3: The City Engin-
eer of the City of Newport Beach
is hereby instructed and directed
to change District Map No. 17
so as to show the zoning changes
described in Sections 1 and 2
hereof, and, as said District Map
shall have been so amended, the
same shall remain in full force
and effect and be a part of Or-
dinance No. 635 of the City of
Newport Beach and Article IX of
the Newport Beach Municipal
Code.
SECTION 4: This Ordinance
shall be published once in the
Newport Harbor Ensign, a news.
paper of general circulation,
printed and published in the City
of Newport Beach, and the same
shall be effective 30 days after
the date of its adoption.
This Ordinance was introduced
at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Newport
Beach held on the 10th day of
November, 1958, and was adopt-
ed on the 24th day of November,
1958, by the following vote, to
wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: HART,
LORENZ, SOMERS, KINGSLEY,
ATKINSON, HIGBIE, STODDARD.
NOES, COUNCILMEN: NONE.
ABSENT COUNCILMEN: NONE.
