ORDINANCE NO 1091
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH ADDING SECTION
6110.5 TO THE NEWPORT BEACH
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO
SIGNS ON WATERCRAFT.
The City Council of the City Of New -
Part Beach does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 6110.5 Is added
to the Newport Beach Municipal Code
to read:
"SECTION 6110.5 Signs on Water.
craft. Any Person having license for
the business of U -Drive boats or water-
craft for hire and who Pursuant Mere -
to rents any Paddleboard, kayak, Pedalo
or similar type of craft shall as a
condition of maintaining such license
antl doing such business Install and
maintain on all such craft in sight
Of the operator a sign stating that
the use Of said craft is Prohibited
in the entrance channel Of Newport
Harbor."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be
Published once in the official news-
paper of the City, and the same shall
be effective 30 days offer the date of
its adpption
This ordinance was Introduced at a
regular meeting M the City Council
of the City Of Newport Beach held
on the 24th day of August, 1964, and
was adopted on the 14th day of Septem-
ber, 1964, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Stoddard,
Forgit, Cook, Gruber, Elder, Marshall,
Parsons.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None
