AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
AMENDING SECTION 13.0 6.020 OF THE NEWPORT
BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE TO REQUIRE APPLICATION
FEE IN CONNECTION WITH CURB CUTS AND OTHER
ALTERATIONS TO PUBLIC STREETS
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach does
ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 13.06.020 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code is amended to read:
"13.06.020 Application. An applicant for a permit
hereunder shall file with the Public Works Director an
application showing (1) name and address of the owner,
or agent in charge, of the property abutting the proposed
work area; (2) name and address of the party doing the
• work; (3) location of the work area; (4) plan showing
details of the proposed work; (5) such other information
as the Public Works Director shall find reasonably
•
necessary to the determination of whether or not a
permit should issue hereunder. An application -fee of
$10.00 shall be submitted with each application."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be published once in
the official newspaper of the City, and the same shall be
effective 30 days after the date of its adoption.
This ordinance was introduced at a regulat meeting of
the City Council of the City of Newport Beach held on the 14th

day of September , 19700 by the following vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: McInnis - KvmlaS
Rogers, Hirth, Croul, Dostal, Parsons
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT COUNCILMEN: None
