AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
AMENDING SECTION 12.52.050 OF THE NEWPORT
BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE TO ESTABLISH ONE -WAY
TRAFFIC ON PLAZA DEL NORTE AND PLAZA DEL SUR
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach does
ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 12.52.050 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code is amended to read:
"12.52.050 Balboa. The following streets and alleys
shall be one -way streets and alleys:
Main Street from Balboa Boulevard to the most northerly
point of Main Street. North bound traffic only.
Bay Avenue from Main Street to A Street. East bound
traffic only.
A Street from Bay Avenue to Balboa Boulevard. South
bound traffic only.
Bay Avenue from Main Street to Eighth Street. Westerly
bound traffic only.
Miramar Drive from the southerly line of Balboa Boulevard
to the westerly line of Channel Road. Easterly bound traffic
only.
The alley lying between Balboa Boulevard on the north
and Miramar Drive on the south, from the westerly boundary
of I Street to the northerly line of Miramar Drive. Easterly
bound traffic only.
Plaza del Norte. Traffic to proceed westerly only for
a distance of approximately 300 feet west of L Street.
Plaza del Sur. Traffic to proceed easterly only for a
distance of approximately 300 feet west of L Street."

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be published once in
the official newspaper of the City, and the same shall be
effective 30 days after the date of its adoption.

of the City Council of the City of Newport Beach held on the
8th day of May 1972 , and was adopted on the
22nd day of May 19 72 , by the following vote,
