AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
AMENDING SECTION 1.08.100 OF THE NEWPORT
BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE TO DELETE REQUIREMENT
OF POSTING PUBLIC NOTICES IN POST OFFICES
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach does
ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 1.08.100 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code is amended to read:
111.08.100 Posting of Public Notices. Wherever
any section of this Code requires the posting of a
notice in a public place, such notice shall also be
posted on the bulletin board of the City Hall of the
City of Newport Beach."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be published once
in the official newspaper of the City, and the same shall be
effective 30 days after the date of its adoption.
This ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting
of the City Council of the City of Newport Beach held on the
25th day of September 1972, and was adopted on the
10th . day of October 1972, by the following vote,
to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: McInnis, Store ,
Rogers, Croul, Dostal, Kymla, Ryckoff
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT COUNCILMEN: None
