ORDINANCE NO. 1479
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
REZONING PROPERTY AND AMENDING DISTRICTING
MAP.NO. 1
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach
DOES ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. The following described real property
in the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of
California, to wit:
Lot 8 of Block 9, Seashore Colony Tract,
located at 211 Fern Street, between West
Coast Highway and Canal Street in Newport
Beach as shown on the map in Book 45,
Page 4, of Miscellaneous Maps in the office
of the County Recorder of Orange County,
as shown on Districting Map No. 1, referred to in Section 20.06.030
of the Newport Beach Municipal Code, and by such reference made
a part of Title 20 of said Code, is hereby rezoned from a C -1 -H
District to an R -2 District, and said Districting Map No. 1 is
hereby amended to show this zoning change.
SECTION 2. The Director of the Community Development
Department of the City of Newport Beach is hereby instructed
and directed to change Districting Map No. 1 to show the zoning
changes as described in Section 1 hereof, and, as said Districting
Map shall have been so amended, the same shall be in full force
and effect and be a part of Title 20 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be published once
in the official newspaper of the City, and the same shall be
effective 30 days after the date of its adoption.
This ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting
of the City Council of the City of Newport Beach held on the
