ORDINANCE NO. 1506
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
ADDING CHAPTER 10.06 TO TITLE 10 OF THE
NEWPORT BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE, ENTITLED
"HUMAN WASTE"
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach does
ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. Chapter 10.06 is added to the Newport
Beach Municipal Code to read:
"CHAPTER 10.06
HUMAN WASTE
Sections:
10.06.010 Human Waste.
10.06.010 Human Waste. No person shall urinate
or evacuate his bowels on private property in an area exposed
to the public view or on any public street, sidewalk, alley,
park, beach or other public place except in a public restroom."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be published once
in the official newspaper of the City, and the same shall be
effective 30 days after the date of its adoption.
This ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Newport Beach held on the 9th
day of July , 1973, and was adopted on the 23rd
day of July , 1973, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: McInnis, Rogers, Croul,
Dostal, Kymla, Ryckoff, Store
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT COUNCILMEN: None
