ORDINANCE NO. 84 -10
AN ORDINANCE OF CITY OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AMENDING SECTIONS 14.24.050
AND 14.02.065 OF THE NEWPORT BEACH
MUNICIPAL CODE REGARDING SEWER CONNECTION
AND USE FEES
Section 1. Section 14.24.050 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
"14.24.050 Sewer Connection Fee. The applicant
shall pay $30.00, for each connection to the public
sewer."
Section 2. Section 14.24.065 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows;
"14.24.065 SEWER USE CHARGE. (a) A basic sewer
use charge of $2.90 per month, shall be assessed
• for each use connection to the public sewer
system. (b) A monthly charge of $1.40 shall be
assessed for each additional living unit served by
the same sewer connection, except that the
assessment shall be $0.65 per month for each
hospital or hotel living unit."
Section 3. This ordinance shall be published once in
the official newspaper of the City, and the same shall be
effective July 1, 1984.
