AN ORDINANCE OF THE CTTY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH AMENDING
DISTRICTING MAP NO. 25
RECLASSIFYING PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE
SOUTHWESTERLY CORNER OF BROAD STREET AND BOLSA AVENUE
FROM THE C -1 DISTRICT TO THE R -2 DISTRICT

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH DOES HEREBY
ORDAIN, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Districting Map No. 25 is hereby amended for the property
located at the southwesterly corner of Broad Street and Bolsa Avenue, as set forth in
Exhibits "A" and "B" attached hereto, as follows:
Change the zoning designation from the "C -1" District to the "R -2" District.
SECTION 2. The Planning Director of the City of Newport Beach is hereby
• instructed and directed to change Districting Map No. 25 referred to in Section 20.01.050
of the Newport Beach Municipal Code and by such reference made part of Title 20, to
reflect the changes described in Section 1 (above), and when said Districting Map has
been so amended, the same shall be in full force and effect and be part of Title 20 of
the Newport Beach Municipal Code.
SECTION 3: The Mayor shall sign and the City Clerk shall attest to the
passage of this Ordinance. This Ordinance shall be published once in the official
newspaper of the City, and the same shall become effective thirty (30) days after the
date of its adoption.
•This Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach held on the 8th day of January, 1990, and adopted on the 22nd
day of January, 1990, by the following vote, to wit:

Book 9, Page 26 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, described as follows:
Commencing at the southeasterly comer of said Lot 2, Block 8 of Tract No. 27; thence
northwesterly N 70 57' 30" W along the southwesterly line of said Lot 2 a distance of
84.0 feet; thence northerly N 0 02' 32" W a distance of 119.27 feet to a point on the
northwesterly edge of said Lot 1; thence northeasterly N 79 06' 08" E along the
northwesterly line of said Lot 1 a distance of 80.83 feet to a point on the easterly edge
of said Block 8; thence southerly N 0 02' 32" W along the easterly edge of said Block
8 a distance of 161.96 feet to the true point of beginning.
