AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT
BEACH AMENDING A PORTION OF DISTRICTING MAP NO. 9
SO AS TO RECLASSIFY THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1900
WEST BALBOA BOULEVARD, ON THE NORTHWESTERLY CORNER
OF 19TH STREET AND WEST BALBOA BOULEVARD, FROM
THE SP6 DISTRICT TO THE SP6 -MFR (1600) SPR DISTRICT
AND TO ESTABLISH ON THE DISTRICTING MAP, 5 FOOT
FRONT YARD SETBACKS ON BOTH THE 19TH STREET
AND WEST BALBOA BOULEVARD FRONTAGES.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH DOES
HEREBY ORDAIN, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Districting Map No. 9 is hereby amended for the property
located at 1900 West Balboa Boulevard, on the northwesterly corner of West Balboa
Boulevard and 19th Street, being comprised of Lots 1 and 2, Block 219, Section A,
Newport Beach, as follows:
Change the zoning designation from the SP6 District to the SP6 -MFR (1600) SPR
District and establish five foot front yard setbacks on the West Balboa Boulevard
and 19th Street frontages of the subject property as shown on Districting Map No.
9.
SECTION 2. The Planning Director of the City of Newport Beach is hereby
instructed and directed to change Districting Map No. 9 referred to in Section 20.01.050
of the Newport Beach Municipal Code and by such reference made part of Title 20, to
reflect the changes described in Section 1 (above), and when said Districting Map has
been so amended, the same shall be in full force and effect and be part of Title 20 of
the Newport Beach Municipal Code.
SECTION 3: The Mayor shall sign and the City Clerk shall attest to the
passage of this Ordinance. This Ordinance shall be published once in the official
newspaper of the City, and the same shall become effective thirty (30) days after the
date of its adoption.
This Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach held on the 23rd day of April, 1990, and adopted on the 14th
day of May, 1990, by the following vote, to wit:
