A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF NEW-
PORT BEACH FIXING THE RATE PER CENTUM ANL LEVYING A TAX UPON
ALL OF THE TAXABLE PROPERTY WITHIN THL CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
WHICH IS TAXABLE THLBEIN FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES.
The Board of Trustees of the City of Newport Beach do
resolve and declare as follows: -
lst:- Resolved,thatthere be and is hereu•y levied upon all of
the taxable property within the City of Newport Beach, which is
taxable therein for municipal purposes, a tax for the purpose
of raising the necessary money with which to carry on the
various departments of the City of Newport Beach for the current
fiscal year.
2nd:- Resolved, that the rate per centum of the tax herein -
before levied shall be ;..and is hereby fixed at the sum of 100
cents on each one hundred dollars ($p10G.G0) of value-design-
ated for each fund as follows:-
For the Street Fund 4G cents.
For the Salary Fund 3C cents.
For the Current Expense Fund 3C cents.
Total tax levied 100 cents.
3rd:- Resolved, that in addition to all other taxes herein
levied for municipal purpose, there is hereby levied on all of
the taxable property within the City of Newport Beach, a tax
for the purpose of raising the necessary and sufficient mor;ey
to pay the annual interest on all issued outstandirg ar.d unpaid
municipal bonds of the City of Newport Beach, and also such
part of the rrincital thereof as shall become due before the
time for fixing the next general tax levy in and for said City;
the rate of the tax hereby levied for said purpose is fixed at
50 cents on each one hundred dollars of value, and the same
shall be collected at the same time and in the same mannerc.as

all other municipal taxes are collected.
The above anu foregoing Resolution was passed, adopted
and approved by the Board of Tursteed of the City of l,ewport
Beach at a regualr meeting thereof held on the 2nd day of
September, 1918, being the first Monday in September of said
year, uy the follwwing vote, to wit:

The above and foregoing Resolution No. 1C1 is approved by
